Karan K. Eriksson

Karan K. Eriksson is a partner and founder of CP Software Group, a Venture Accelerator with numerous companies under management.

She is the current CEO of InterestALERT, a news content aggregation and e-newsletter services company serving over 3000 web sites. She is Publisher of TECHdivas, an onlne content site with over 36,000 women  technology subscribers.

Ms Eriksson has held a number of senior executive positions in the industry including Vice President and General Manager of Borland, Vice President Unify, President of Handle Corp.

Ms Eriksson writes for numerous publications and is a well known speaker on diversity and advancing women in technology. She is a member of the Advancement Initiative, World Organization of  Webmasters, promoting diversity and Web retraining and certification throughout colleges and high schools http://www.webprofessional.org/ Ms Eriksson serves on a number of boards including Child Development Inc, a non profit Montessori learning advocacy.  She was named Top 25 Women on the Web by SF WOW.    She is the former CEO of WITI, Women in Technology International, a national trade association of over 60,000 women in high tech.
