Hey....Get involved!  The best way to network and meet other women in technology is to get out and participate.  This is a partial list of everything from associations to scholarships that support women and technology.  Know of  something that should be listed? Submit it here.  

Women in Science and Engineering -- Organizations whose primary mission relates to women in technology.  Many have regional chapters.

Online information and networking -- Webs or groups supporting women in technology that exist primarily on the internet
  • Systers - A Virtual community for technical women in computing
  • MentorNet - National online mentoring network for women in engineering and science which connects senior women in technology to students from 52 universities pursuing technology careers.
  • BlackGeeks - An online community and gathering place for African American Techno Savy women.  
  • WorldWIT - Great regional networking list servers, content, meetings, some regional chapters.
  • Changing Channels- A resource for students, teachers, and anyone else interested in pursuing technology-based careers.
  • GirlGeeks - An online community that offers job training and communities in technology.
  • Cybergrrls - A community of women in technology.  Some regional chapters.
  • SF WOW - Women on the Web - Primarily a SF/SiliconValley  group.  Regular meetings, networking and events.
